They are inorganic compounds that are insoluble in all organic solvents and water. These pigments are suitable for the manufacture of Optically Variable Inks (OVI’s).Angstrom Technologies VP-07 is a metallic effect, an inorganic pigment, and an optically variable pigment (OVP). Depending on the viewing angle, the visible color shifts from purple at 0° to red-copper at 120°. This pigment is suitable for the manufacture of optically variable inks (OVIs). In its physical state, it is an odorless, free-flowing crystalline powder with multiple visible colors, ranging between purple and red-copper.

Angstrom Technologies SC-234 fluoresces a brilliant green color when exposed to shortwave UV excitation (254 nm). It does not fluoresce when exposed to longwave UV excitation (365 nm). This characteristic makes SC-234 an excellent choice for security inks and other media. It can be used alone or combined with different longwave fluorescent compounds to create bi-fluorescent features used for document security and brand protection applications.
